I am still in Awe of this past weekend, and the Luncheon to Honor some amazing Women in our Communities. First I want to thank God for such a amazing turnout...to the Board of StandingAgainst ViolenceEveryday I say thank you, without your hard work, sacrifice and service the event would not have been a success. To our keynote Speaker Dr. Nika White the Lord knew exactly who we needed. Nika again, Thank you for surprising us with Mrs. Joan Thaxter-Randall, she left us all Inspired and asking the question, How can I help? To our programs participants, we say thank you... to our photographer, Kesha Williams Thank You, the pictures turned out Beautiful! To our Amazing line up of Vendors, Thank you all for your Sacrifice, we pray Blessings over you and your Business 100 fold! To every person listed in the Thanks in the Booklets, we again say Thank you, and to every Honoree, thank you for living a life of Service and Sacrifice. To every Guest that was able to attend, Thank you, our prayer is that you were moved, inspired, equipped, and left with no regrets. To my behind the scenes Businesses that supported and supplied giveaways, 3D Fitness and Chef Tamara Cole, and Leonard Pitts God bless you... to Alfreda Coleman and Tonya Kirby, thank YOU! Anita Scruggs, I owe you soo much, Thanks love...To those who were not able to attend due to whatever the circumstance, we felt your prayers, and appreciate you all as well. Rhonda Rawlings thank you for sharing us with the listeners, Nisa Griffin-Milam my personal stylist thank you for the late night and early morning cry. Last but definitely not least, Thank you to my family who supports me in public but harder in private, and especially my cousin Sonya Hudgens Cunningham who allows me to vent, cry, have my days, but just like Saturday makes me sit down and remember to eat.... to my Sunshine Denice Harris the early morning messages are my lifelines.... My sincere prayer as CEO of SAVE is that you will join our efforts, and continue to support the works that we seek to do to better Our Communities.... Tori Knuckles let's Go.... Again God Bless! Women, children, and men who are impacted by violence need an array of resources, tangible and non-tangible. You don’t have to be wealthy to make a difference in the lives of those needing the basic necessities in life. Even a small donation can make a big impact on the community. Whatever the size of your gift, we use our experience and knowledge of the shelters and those needing immediate assistance to ensure that your gift has the maximum impact.
